1-year glass warranty

What this covers

Tactical Fishing warrants the original purchaser that our Candy Glass jigs and lures are free from defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of original purchase.

This limited replacement warranty applies to:

• The glass body of the jig or lure
• Color and pattern infused in the glass in our Baldwin workshop
• Factory-installed hardware (hooks, eyes, swivels, and beads) as assembled by us
• Failure of the glass under normal fishing use that is due to a manufacturing defect

What we will do

If a covered product fails during the warranty period, we will replace it with the same product, or a comparable Candy Glass product of equal value if the original is no longer made. Replacement is the sole remedy. This warranty does not provide cash refunds, store credit beyond the replacement, or coverage of shipping on the original order.

We pay return shipping on the replacement once the claim is approved. You are responsible for sending photos (and the product if we ask to see it).

How to make a claim

Email or write us within the one-year period with:

• Your name, phone, and the email used at checkout
• Order number (for example TF-XXXX) or proof of purchase
• Product name
• Clear photos of the defect, including the glass body
• A short description of when and how the issue showed up

Contact rljones@tacticalfishing.net or use the contact form. We typically respond from the Baldwin workshop within a few business days. We may request the product back before replacing it.

What is not covered

• The Crappie Coffin and other non-glass products
• Lost lures, snagged lures, or tackle that is not returned or photographed
• Normal fishing wear: dulled hooks, fish teeth, or normal wear and tear
• Damage from misuse, modification, or repair by anyone other than Tactical Fishing
• Rust, corrosion, or hardware wear from storage in water, wet boxes, or chemicals
• Products purchased from unauthorized resellers when we cannot verify the original sale
• Commercial or tournament abuse beyond ordinary recreational fishing

Duration and who is covered

Coverage begins on the purchase date shown on your Tactical Fishing order and ends one year later. It applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable. Implied warranties under Wisconsin law, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, last only as long as this limited warranty where such a limit is allowed.

Limits of liability

Tactical Fishing is not liable for incidental or consequential damages, including lost fishing time, lost fish, travel, or other tackle. Some states do not allow limits on implied warranties or exclusion of incidental damages, so those limits may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary by state.
